About Mike Evans

Unity has been my outlet for over 10 years. I love building things from the ground up, a passion that the engine has nurtured and helped me flourish in. My expertise and love for development has had me building tools, games and toying around a lot in R&D. Activities that have enabled me to grow both professionally and personally in tandem. My journey to date has led me down a variety of paths- Creating algorithms for procedural generation - Creating a small handful of my own games, both 2D and 3D - Building and shipping 2 games to help teach hard skills in the construction and horticulture industries - Fixing bugs, building out projects and tutoring for clients as a freelancer - Building quality of life tools for the people around me, like a tool to automate generating project timeline reports for PMs - And of course building upon and managing an MDM solution that is in use by thousands of devices across the globe. I love what I do—growing and pushing the limits of my knowledge and abilities, it is built into me. I'm always looking for the next horizon to go beyond, I hope to find others who share the same love for development.
