Throughout my career as an artist and manager, I have gained invaluable experience in the gaming industry spanning over 20 years. I have successfully produced key products within tight deadlines that have proven to be exceptionally successful on the casino floor. As a Senior Art Manager, my responsibilities go beyond overseeing my own production team. I am an active member of the art direction leadership group, collaborating with various game studios in Chicago. In this role, I serve as a mentor to junior leads and also fulfill the role of a hiring manager for our art department. Embracing a people-first philosophy, I prioritize placing individuals in roles that align with their strengths and provide them with excellent support from leadership. Witnessing their success in achieving the company's goals is the most fulfilling aspect of my position at Light & Wonder. Driven by my personal desire for growth and my reputation for tackling challenges head-on, I have taken on diverse roles at Light & Wonder. These roles have included leading hiring initiatives, establishing a Class II development team, managing remote groups, and concurrently overseeing my own development team. All of these experiences have reinforced a fundamental goal in my career: nurturing my own artistic growth. While I have amassed practical expertise as an artist and animator over the years, I have found immense satisfaction in improving my professional work through daily drawing exercises and online classes. These endeavors have revitalized my creativity, infusing my work with renewed energy and excitement.
