About Mike Fields

As a former District Attorney for District 4 of the State of Oklahoma, I led a team of dedicated professionals who serve the public interest and uphold the rule of law. For over 27 years, I have been a trial lawyer, manager, and vision-caster with broad expertise collaborating with public and private stakeholders in high-stress environments. My core competencies include managing investigations, litigation, and trials. This includes working collaboratively to evaluate cases and formulate strategies to obtain favorable outcomes. I have conducted and supervised hundreds of jury trials and bench trials as well as thousands of contested motions and hearings in diverse cases and difficult situations. I have also been a litigant in multiple successful published opinions and amicus briefs, demonstrating my analytical and persuasive skills. In addition, I have nearly 2 decades of experience managing personnel and stewarding a multi-million dollar budget. My mission is to improve the community's response to domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes while elevating, engaging, and effecting change through survivor voices. I am a trusted leader, an adaptable team player, and a prudent decision-maker with exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
