I've been automating things forever and know how to find the right tools for the job. I'm also not afraid to point out when a process actually *is* predictable, but not living up to expectations. Although I disagree with the term, I've been called a full-stack developer more times than I can count. I can work very competently *anywhere* in the web stack, across multiple languages and frameworks, but I also know my limits. I'm happy to delegate to actual specialists, and will often be the first to suggest it. I like to think of myself as a realist and a minimalist when it comes to developing websites. Two of the fastest ways to get a team in trouble are introducing unneeded complexity, and ignoring the complexity that's already there. Everything has tradeoffs, and the best results come from making them intentionally. I'm familiar with several types of digital project management, and their trade-offs and use cases. I know how to weigh business needs against best practices, and how to plan big changes without interrupting the day-to-day of a company. All-in-all, I'm a flexible problem solver with a lot of experience and the ability to fill in the gaps on a development team.
