I have to say, I've had it pretty good. Three decades in the engineering and environmental industry has offered me incredible opportunities to support interesting and challenging projects in some of the most spectacular places out there. I've worked with the best in the business, from archaeologists to zoologists, to engineers, biologists and chemists. even a few geologists here and there. From consulting to industry, people who love what they do. People who care about their communities. People who are making good things happen every day, collaboratively delivering technically challenging and intellectually rewarding projects that make the world a better place. I've worked on large resource and infrastructure development projects to provide economic development, reliable energy, clean water, and safe transportation to our communities. I've supported cultural resource, subsistence and socioeconomic studies to ensure that development is not achieved at the expense of local interests and heritage. I've helped clean up hazardous waste sites to make a healthier future for all of us. Most importantly, I've worked hard to maintain an exceptional record on safety, leading by example to make sure that everyone associated with my projects goes home safely. Nobody gets hurt.
