About Mike Greene

I recently relocated to San Antonio Florida after many successful years of service at Cheshire Academy. While at Cheshire Academy I served as the Director of Security and Transportation as well as Assistant Football and Softball Coach. I was named the Director of Security and Transportation at Cheshire Academy on July 1, 2013. I have also coached football for the Academy since 1007 and softball since 2014. In football I have coached both JV and Varsity teams. I have documented game statistics, and been instrumental in the recruitment process – including but not limited to: film evaluation, guiding students through the admissions process and player development. I have organized the morning weight training for student athletes – designing individual programs for each student, depending on their personal needs. I have coordinated the Football Team’s annual Bench Press for Breast Cancer to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation. In softball I have helped to set up the annual spring training trips to Florida and winter workouts. Our Program won the Class C title the prior year to my hiring. We have since been to 6 straight Championships, winning four of those, with the 2017, 2018 & 2019 titles being the Class B Championship. I also help in the recruiting process and my summers are spent viewing our players in the travel tournaments throughout the east coast. Prior to my appointment at Cheshire Academy I retired after 20 successful years of service with the Ct Department of Corrections
