About Mike Hadjimichael

I am a seasoned technology leader with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and extensive experience supporting a wide variety of government sponsors. As a Principal Computer Scientist, I lead and manage R&D teams to understand and fulfill sponsor requirements in the Artificial Intelligence domain. I excel at taking complex engineering problems and decomposing them into tangible and realistic tasks for the teams I lead and support. My expertise spans adversarial machine learning, responsible and trustworthy AI, systems architecture analysis, and cybersecurity, with a proven track record of applying machine learning, data analytics, risk assessment, and visualization methods across various domains, including aviation safety and autonomous vehicles AI assessment. My current areas of effort focus the implementation of secure, trustworthy, responsible, ethical artificial intelligence in government agencies; development of AI test & evaluation strategies, including the implications of adversarial machine learning; and the evaluation of AI suitability and organizational considerations of the acquisition and implementation of AI. I am passionate about leveraging AI to address technological and analytical challenges in any domain, and I hold multiple active security clearances to support my work and sponsors. mikeh@acm.org
