Began my career as a Restroom Cleaner at the Munsingwear Factory for Marsden Bldg Maintenance in 1982. Quickly became Marsden's youngest Major Account Manager while also earning a business degree from the U of M Carlson School of Mgmt. Held many positions over the years with Marsden such as: IDS Tower Acct Mgr, DT Mpls District Mgr, Director of Operations Mpls & St. Paul, and Director of National Accounts. Developed Marsden's Workloading and Cost Estimating Tool, Multi-Lingual Audio-Visual Training Kit, Best Practice Guides, Technical Certification Series and Marsden's Always Clean Always Green® green cleaning program to earn all credits in LEED-EB O&M. Formerly on the Board of Directors for USGBC Minnesota and multi-year chair of the Education Committee. A member of the ISSA/CIRI Clean Standard K-12 Stakeholder Committee. Certified in Carpet Care, Hard Floor Care, Asbestos Control, and Cleanroom Housekeeping along with holding the designation of Registered Building Services Manager, LEED Accredited Professional for Green Building Operations and Maintenance, ISSA CIMS-GB Certified Expert Trainer (Cleaning Industry Mgmt Standard for Green Bldgs), and CEFP Certified Educational Facilities Professional. Helped expand the footprint of Marsden Services National Accts Division to 45 million in annual revenue through quality services provided by wholly owned operating companies and numerous strategic partners throughout the US. After 33 years moved on to help develop and manage the best custodial program possible at the U of MN as Associate Director of Custodial. Sat on the Board of Directors for Mission Jamaica. A non-profit organization working to improve lives in Jamaica working at various orphanages, children's homes and free medical clinics. Have been an active participant since 2001 and more recently starting helping by leading home builds for those in need.
