Sometimes I look back disillusioned on how "good" of a student I was in grade school. I must have tried so hard to get good at deriving the distance between two points or memorizing specific battles of the Civil War. It's a wonder why schools don't just replace that time with true adult-life subjects that the teachers themselves must wish they had learned - personal finance being a no-brainer.These days I feel like I gain more in a single book, like The Boglehead's Guide to Investing, than I've been taught in my whole life. And it seems that most of us do stay in the dark about finances because we just don't know anybody who can speak to it.This is what I love about helping people manage their money. I want to be that go-to person who can speak to it.
