Over thirty years of experience in law enforcement and corrections. As the first Privatization Administrator for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, established the structure and mission of that office, which is widely considered a national leader in private corrections contracting. Served in a variety of field and staff positions for the Bureau of Prisons including Associate Warden and Assistant to the Director. Private sector work includes serving as the Director of Quality Assurance for Cornell Companies, where have developed, implemented and automated a company-wide quality assurance program; also served as Director of Federal Programs for Community Education Centers. Earned a Masters degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Public Administration. Taught college at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Specialties: Privatization of corrections. Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Change agent.
