About Mike Kovh

I am currently the Senior Business Advisor for Hydro & Renewables at SaskPower. Prior to this, i was the Manager of the Nipawin & Coteau Creek Hydro Stations at SaskPower. I was also the Manager of the 3 hydro stations near Lake Athabasca as well as our 2 wind facilities. I was responsible for the staff, maintenance and budgets at each. I was also a coordinator. My responsibilities included the scheduling of maintenance activities using SAP at all hydro facilities for SaskPower. I enjoy being part of a team that works very hard to make Hydro & Renewables the best place to work within SaskPower. I earned a Maintenance Management Professional designation from PEMAC (Plant Engineering & Maintenance Association of Canada). By earning this, I was able to upgrade my Red Seal Journeyman Industrial Mechanic certificate to a Blue Seal. I’m always interested in connecting with colleagues or old friends.
