About Mike Kunst

I believe that waste is not the end, but the beginning of something new. With that conviction, I work as Operations Manager at FastFeetGrinded, the world’s first company capable of fully recycling shoes in a truly circular way. In my role, I focus on turning vision into practice: optimizing processes, leading teams, and ensuring that our recycling technology runs at full capacity. Every day, we process thousands of shoes into high-quality raw materials – materials that find a second life in sports flooring, retail interiors, and soon, even new shoes. What drives me is the belief that the circular economy is not a future vision, but something we are already building today. I thrive on creating practical, scalable solutions that help companies achieve their sustainability goals in a tangible way. For me, every shoe we give a new life is proof that change is not only possible, but also impactful and within reach.
