early years) Born to work with computers, at the age of 11, created and operated a BBS between 1987 - 1990, called the Computer Castle BBS. It was an IBM clone XT Intel 8086 8Mhz CPU, 512KB of RAM, 20 MB HD, and a 2400 baud modem with a dedicated phone line. It was powered by Wildcat! BBS. Along with games, the system had an early form of email which would dial out to FidoNet once a night to transfer email to other BBS systems. The BBS and I were featured in the Houma Daily Courier paper.(current role) Manage day to day operations of a locally owned cloud/hosting solution that provides service for hundreds of local customers (which all run in a data center located on the northshore). We provide remote desktop services including remote app, virtual desktop, private exchange, hosted exchange, 3CX, MS SQL, MYSQL servers, IIS servers. Designed and manage the network that powers all of the services we provide. Designed and manage the virtual infrastructure that powers our cloud solution. Designed and manage the backup system for the cloud. Provide remote and onsite support for hundreds of clients varying from new server and network installations, to recovering critical lost data. Assist and oversee 7 other IT professionals. If they have trouble getting their project working, they come to me and I will assist with getting the problem resolved.
