Experienced oil spill response technician with 21 years of field experience leading and managing all aspects of spill clean-up operations-Involved in most major oil spills in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska since 2006 ranging from Recovery Lead to Operation Section Chief and many roles in between-Have worked on various assets over the last several years including BP, Conoco Philips, Eni Petroleum and most recently Hilcorp WNS-Capable of running 80 different types of spill response equipment; Ranging from pumps and skimmers to heavy equipment and large offshore vessels-Have demonstrated 60 oil spill response tactics including but not limited to Containment, Recovery, Tracking/ Surveillance, In-Situ Burning (ISB), Wildlife Protection, Disposal & Logistical Support during training exercises or real emergencies-Have over 1,500 instructor hours for spill response emergencies and training-Very interested in wildlife protection during spills and identifying/ protecting sensitive habit areas-Enjoys being involved in Research & Development (R&D) projects and using specific training for practical and outside of the box solutions-Manages a volunteer Spill Response Team of 45 members-Utilizes Unmanned Aerial Vehicles to conduct pipeline inspections, all aspects of spill responses & wildlife interactions-Chairman of Eni Petroleum (Nikaitchuq Field) Employee Safety Committee-Chairman of Alaska Clean Seas Health, Safety & Environmental Committee.
