I am a Global Programme Director for Europe’s largest bank (HSBC) who has been trusted to deliver some of its most sensitive changes, and succeeded. A trilingual strategist (English, Spanish, French) who can plan the route to a successful outcome past all the human, practical, organisational and compliance barriers on the way, I have won the trust of HSBC’s leaders across the world. Leading international teams of over 200 people, I have consistently resolved complex, cross-border challenges. In addition, I have built relationships with important governmental regulatory and other stakeholders, frequently winning respect where it had previously been lost, through my competence and transparent communication. Understanding global programme governance, the challenges of change, the importance of managing unforeseen obstacles and the need for flexibility, I reach the desired end outcome on time, and with the resources provided. Selected Achievements: • Programme Directed an international team of 200+ members across 60 countries to deliver regulatory compliance for FATCA/CRS, earning the confidence of HSBC’s top leadership and achieving a seamless BAU rollout. • Implemented a robust governance framework globally, regionally and at country level as part of a $1 billion annual financial crime risk remediation programme. • Negotiated complex FATCA-related issues in South America in fluent Spanish, resolving key challenges and advancing progress to meet regulatory deadlines. With my objectives at HSBC fulfilled, I am keen to explore new Programme Director positions for global organisations, where my ability to cost-efficiently deliver the largest of changes with the minimum of risk can ensure that challenging business goals are met, and endure.
