About Mike Madden

Who Am I: I'm a Systems Engineering Coop at Susquehanna International Group, where I collaborate with the Compute and Storage Platforms team to enhance the performance and efficiency of trading systems. I’m also a full-time junior at Drexel University majoring in Computer Science, with a focus on technology infrastructure and systems architecture. Professional Expertise- Automation Development: I build and maintain tools in PowerShell and Python, eliminating hours of manual tasks across the team- Systems Administration: I manage Windows, Linux, and a VMware environment with over active VMs- Hardware Optimization: I lead latency-reduction experiments in lab-based data centers, improving inter-server communication and performance. Outside the Office: When I’m not working, I’m reading up on technology and financial trends, playing guitar, or designing and building analog audio pedals from scratch.
