Promoted and grew demand for hook and line seafood to restaurants and the general public throughout Nova Scotia. Represented suppliers at tradeshows and corporate events across Atlantic Canada and New England. Transitioned from small business operator to General Manager of a company with 20 employees. Increased sales by 250% over a seven year period. Created a capital investment project that resulted in the company purchasing a new facility, managing the business through the change from old to new. Authored the company’s sustainability policy, quality management program and MSC program. Led a Graduate project with Dalhousie University’s College of Sustainability. Assisted in developing a national retail program focused on reducing shrink and increasing sales. Successfully launched a hook and line restaurant program focusing on fresh, local, premium, traceable and responsibly caught fish throughout Atlantic Canada and Quebec. Joined the Board of Directors of Sea Pact in 2013.
