About Mike Miers

With over 15 years as a pre-hospital care provider, I bring extensive experience from major metropolitan areas and rural settings. My journey in public safety has encompassed volunteer, career, 911, and interfacility systems, allowing me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the diverse challenges we face in our field. In addition to my experience in direct patient care, I have been teaching EMS clinicians for over 8 years. I’m passionate about public speaking and sharing knowledge to empower others in our profession. My background also includes roles in simulation, sales, management, and marketing within the Fire/EMS and public safety sectors. My professional research interests include rural EMS delivery, acute pediatric care, aggressive airway management, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. My mission is simple: to ease the pain and suffering of all those I encounter. The goal of my career is to enhance the quality of care we provide to our communities. I believe that through collaboration, innovation, and compassion, we can transform pre-hospital emergency care as we know it.
