Background
About Mike Nowak
In 2015 my family was growing and I needed to leave the sports performance world for a career that didn't have me working EVERY night and weekend. So like any smart millennial, I jumped into the tech space. Being born in 84' I'm old enough to remember all the steps we took to go from analog to digital, and technology is in my hands every day. How hard could this career change be? Well, it turns out the learning curve was as big as a tidal wave. Conceptually, I knew my way around, but to have an intelligent conversation with my teammates and clients I needed to get to work. I sought out anything and everything I could get my hands on to learn my craft, and as a result. I am now fluent in both tech talk and the "this thing I was doing yesterday doesn't work today" talk. The content here will condense my "Kelly Slater" type origin into a calm summer morning on Lake Michigan.
