About Mike Panka

I am a multi-line insurance agent with an agricultural and finance background. I am contracted with Farmers Union Insurance Agency and we write commercial, farm and homeowners insurance, auto, crop, hail, life and health insurance. We also write annuities, long term care insurance, workers' compensation insurance, boat insurance, motorcycle insurance and other specialty lines of insurance. I have three offices, one in Canby, one in Ivanhoe and one in Marshall. My brother Adam and my sister Vicky work with me in our family agency. I have been an agent with Farmers Union Insurance Agency since 2005. In that time the agency has grown from the middle of close to 40 agencies throughout the state of Minnesota, to a top agency in the state. We are licensed to sell in Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Arizona, Oregon and Washington. We write for several different companies that allow us to get our clients the coverage they need at a competitive price. We continue the growth of the agency primarily through word of mouth referrals from our current clients and our continued marketing efforts to southwest Minnesota. Our goal is to grow by doing something most insurance agents do not do: educate. We want our clients to be informed of the coverages they are choosing so they understand the impact their choice can have on their farm, business or family.
