About Mike Penketh

I was producing the series Inside Job for Netflix after recently delivering Entergalactic which premiered September 30th 2022. I began Entergalactic in 2019 and prior to that I was the producer of Bob's Burgers. I also produced the pilot for the Great North - a new Fox animated comedy from Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux and Minty Lewis along with Loren Bouchard. Previously I ran Bento Box's Special Projects department and produced pilots, development projects and web series. Notable productions included the Legends of Chamberlain Heights pilot for Comedy Central (2 seasons), the Pharrell Williams/Despicable Me 3 Yellow Light video and the Coldplay Aliens video. Hoops was been picked up to series by Netflix. Paradise PD was in production on season 2 for Netflix. Who Was is another Netflix series. We also had a series with Apple TV that is now in production. Before joining the incredible team at Bento Box I had the good fortune to work for Walt Disney. I produced many pilots for Walt Disney Television Animation that successfully transitioned to series including: Fish Hooks, Gravity Falls, Tron, Motorcity, Kick Buttowski, Wander Over Yonder, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Sofia the First, Penn Zero: Part Time Hero, Star and the Forces of Evil, Pickle and Peanut, Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, the Mickey Mouse shorts and others. Prior to working in animation I had a couple of record deals and made my way as a professional musician.
