With over nine years of experience in the rail industry, I am a passionate and dedicated professional who strives to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable rail transport services. As an assistant trainmaster at CPKC, I oversee the daily operations of the yard, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and service standards. I also collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, mechanical, and dispatch, to coordinate resources, resolve issues, and optimize performance. I am committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and customer satisfaction, and I enjoy working with a diverse and talented team of rail professionals. In addition to my current role as an assistant trainmaster, I am also a qualified locomotive engineer, with more than three years of experience in operating heavy rail freight trains on various subdivisions. I have a strong knowledge of the Canadian Rail Operating Rules, the Train Handling and Brake Systems Rules, and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. I also have a certification in RCLS Remote Beltpack Operator, which allows me to control locomotives remotely using a wireless device. I have demonstrated excellent skills in communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and teamwork, as well as a high level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
