About Mike Phipps

With over 12 years of experience in the field service industry, I am a competent and reliable technician who can service, maintain, and repair various types of equipment and systems at customer locations. My mission is to provide quality and timely solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction. My field of expertise includes troubleshooting, electrical/electronic and mechanical components, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and conveyors. I currently work as a Field Service Technician at Shred-Tech, a global leader in designing and manufacturing mobile and stationary shredding and recycling systems. In my current role, I am responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing Danfoss and relay logic, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical/electronic and mechanical components of shredding systems and associated equipment. I also perform equipment installation, startup, and training at customer locations, and write technical service reports. I adhere to ISO based quality procedures and work instructions, and follow written and verbal instructions. I am also responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels and service tools on my service vehicle, and submitting timesheets and expense records to my manager. Some of the skills that I use in my daily work are Microsoft Office, kinetic, concur and Training.
