About Mike Pilgrim

Most of my professional career has been involved with working for OEMs in the industry of steam generation. My cradle years in front of a drafting table creating fabrication drawings to domestic and international projects and long-term postings with Field Services. Business Development and Sales later provided me many opportunities to build both professional and personal relationships with customers from the plant production floor to the C-suites at corporate head offices. My personal life has also benefited greatly from my career choices and business opportunities, from meeting my wife overseas and then eventually creating a multi-racial family after being exposed first hand to China’s One-Child Policy. ‘One door can expose many rooms’. I am also a firm believer in volunteering within our community. Edmonton’s festivals have a world class reputation of being so well organized due to the abundance of returning volunteers who share the same passion for our city.
