Licensed professional engineer with 9 years' experience designing and analysing pressure boundary systems to support fuel handling, reactor inspection and maintenance, and medical isotope production in Ontario's nuclear energy industry. I am Appendix qualified to certify ASME BPVC Section design specifications, design reports, and overpressure protection reports. Demonstrated work experience includes- Preparation of ASME BPVC Section Design Reports and Design Specifications - Nuclear and non-nuclear piping stress analysis using classical hand calculations and computer based software (i.e, AutoPIPE and Caesar II) to ASME BPVC Section and B31.1 criteria - Preparation of design reconciliations and creation and submission of design registrations to Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA)- Working knowledge in ASME BPVC Section ASME B31.1, CSA N285 series of Standards, and CSA B51 among others - Preparation of CNSC Code Classification Approval packages - Design and analysis of modifications to nuclear fuel handling equipment at Darlington NGS and Bruce A and B NGS from conceptual to detailed design including collaborating with drafting, manufacturing, testing, and QA teams and interacting with customers, vendors, TSSA and CNSC to implement final designs - Preparation of both detailed and simplified design plans outlining work to be done in multidisciplinary engineering projects across all phases of work - Experience creating design engineering change packages for Darlington NGS and Bruce A and B NGS following licensee’s respective ECC process - Experience conducting walkdowns with key project stakeholders - Preparation of detailed hydraulic calculations to size and select service pumps for the Darlington NGS Moly-99 Target Delivery System - Expertise in hydrostatic pressure testing of nuclear and non-nuclear components to code requirements - Experience leading continuous improvement and optimization of the Bruce Reactor Inspection and Maintenance System (BRIMS) Channel Access Device (ChAD) D2O System, serving as BWXT primary stakeholder for the D2O system
