About Mike Rousos

I've worked on the.NET Framework since I joined Microsoft as an intern in the summer of 2002. From work on Reflection and Reflection.Emit as an intern, to work on Base Class Libraries, Hosting, Security, and.NET Core/ASP.NET Core later, I've had the opportunity to work on a wide breadth of technologies under the.NET umbrella. I currently work on the.NET Customer Engagement team, interacting directly with customers to help them succeed with new Developer Division offerings (with a focus on.NET Core and Azure). The majority of these engagements involve either helping customers create awesome.NET Core apps (both server and client apps) or helping them root-cause and fix performance issues in their existing.NET Core applications. Based on these customer engagements, I bring lessons learned back to the product team and make the.NET developer experience better for everyone by addressing bugs and creating content (docs, blogs, videos, samples, etc.) to fill any gaps we discover in the.NET developer experience.
