I also have experience in the acquisition and upfitting of replacement vehicles for specific applications. I have over 30 years of professional dealership experience in the Fixed Operations departments. I have almost 200 certified training certificates including in class, virtual, on line and web based training platforms to maintain manufacturer’s recommendations for preventative maintenance. Some of these training sessions were taken at The University of Automotive Management at Western University in London, Ontario as well as General Motors dealer training seminars in Detroit and Chicago. I have also completed and achieved 100 % in The Dale Carnegie Human Relations Development and Leadership Skills through Effective Communications 14 week course. I am a previously certified “red” seal interprovincial licensed technician. My management philosophy of “Stay in Touch/Walk the Floor” and this has provided me with positive leadership and beneficial support in order for our work environment to be supportive. I would like to be able to share and apply my knowledge in the automotive/transportation industries with a company that has needs/requirements to control/lessen maintenance repairs as well as develop and implement programs in order to reduce costly and preventable repairs. I am familiar with outside parts sourcing, third party vehicle repair facilities and aftermarket parts supply vendors as well as OEM and like kind/quality parts applications. I also have extensive knowledge/experience with the administration and control of warranty expense and reviewing of the claims that are supported and paid by the O.E. manufacturer or by a 3rd party warranty provider.
