About Mike Ryder

I build and transform sports organizations by developing people, programs, and brands that thrive. My career began on the sidelines, coaching lacrosse at the high school, collegiate, and prep levels, before expanding into leadership at 3d Lacrosse while also guiding championship programs at Kent Denver and Berkeley Prep. I later held multiple leadership roles, ultimately overseeing 20+ multi-sport brands as Vice President at 3STEP Sports. What connects these experiences is my approach: relationship-driven leadership, emotional intelligence, and operational discipline. I create environments where athletes, coaches, and organizations thrive, balancing people-first values with data-driven execution. As youth, collegiate, and professional sports continue to evolve, I’m especially interested in where athlete development, NIL, and organizational strategy intersect, and how thoughtful leadership can shape opportunities on and off the field.
