About Mike Scheid

My career thus far has been propelled by strong interpersonal skills. Prior to completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Niagara University in May of 2016, my work experience had been in customer facing roles. Starting a career in the hospitality industry in 2013, and through advancement, I am currently the Comptroller for a private yacht club based in Buffalo, New York, and Ridgeway, Ontario, Canada. In this role I am responsible for all accounting, IT, and HR functions for the organization, as well as an affiliated charitable foundation. I have found my biggest attribute to fellow leaders in the organization is the clarity of identifying horizontal integration issues that often afflicted the organization, due to the diversity of program services offered.
