I have served as a leader in the construction industry for over 35 years with specific emphasis on- Experience as a successful Project Manager for large contracts - Experience as a proven Business Development Manager - Experience working on Public Works projects relating to drinking water delivery improvements, consisting primarily of supplying and re-piping mobile home parks and single-family subdivisions (including the repair of damaged and worn-out piping)- Reading and interpreting specifications and standards and ensuring successful implementation of those specifications and standards - Experience working with Counties and Cities to improve and replace main water lines - Communicating and scheduling with subcontractors to meet or exceed project deadlines. This includes keeping lines of communication open with all subcontractors - Working closely with clients to reach common goals, including either staying below or within identified budget constraints - Performance of inspections on installation of main water lines within commercial and residential subdivisions - Extensive experience leading and managing large teams of inspectors/work crews/subcontractors (Metro Rail (City of Los Angeles subway system) and Alameda Corridor (railway from Port of Long Beach to downtown Los Angeles) projects, both of which consisted of approximately 30 inspectors/work crews/subcontractors)- Inspection of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings during various stages of construction and remodeling to ensure compliance with adopted codes, approved plans and specifications
