Michael Self is an Executive Coach Mentor, supporting Senior Executives and Company Directors to unlock their potential to solve problems and successfully plan and manage future development. Michael's style is both Socratic and supportive, believing ones search for knowledge and self-development lies within oneself.He is an experienced Business Consultant and Company Director, and has been providing Business Consultancy and Mentoring to Senior Executives and Company Directors for over 25 years. Providing leadership, he has successfully initiated and developed several businesses in the technology and professional services sectors; growing some, turning some around and closing a few. An experienced problem solver, he is now dedicated to supporting Senior Executives through individual and team coaching.Michael’s career is grounded on a fast-track graduate programme, followed by several senior leadership roles with Corning International, Thorn EMI and Avery International. A Chartered Marketer for over 20 years, Michael was also an Associate Lecturer for 10 years in Strategic Marketing, New Product Development and Marketing Communications on the Sheffield Hallam MBA and Engineering Degree courses. He has also held Non-Executive Director roles with several SMEs and on public sector boards and committees.
