Rooted in South Central LA, currently exploring new professional paths in the Southern region. I've spent the last 6+ years in higher education helping students figure out their individual paths, whether they're earning a School Counseling credential, finishing a dissertation in Educational Leadership & Management, or just expanding their post-bachelor education work. Outside of academia, I currently utilize my love for media & digital communication by hosting a podcast called "If I Let You Tell It". Think real-life conversations, music talk, a little bit of healing, a little bit of transparency, and a lot of unwarranted jokes. Birthed from the pandemic, the podcast has been running for 5 years and I've successfully managed over 200+ episodes of talking out loud and mastering the intricacies of audio production. I'm big on community, learning new things, and avoiding unnecessary complications. Whether I'm working on a student success plan or curating the perfect playlist/topic points for the show, I try to keep it focused, intentional, and people-first. Calm energy. Good listener.
