I enjoy investigating data issues, determining causes, and finding solutions.Problem Solving - Investigated software issues, identified cause of incorrect results in reports, and recovered lost data allowing clients to continue their process.Research- Researched and analyzed reporting tools- Investigated, analyzed, and designed a prototype to lay the groundwork for a security system. Quality- Created scoring engines for two software products that combined multiple tests into a single set of combined results. The quality assurance team found no defects in the scoring engines.Process Improvement- Reduced administration time by designing and implementing applications that integrated various process steps- Reduced duplication and confusion over multiple customer locations by creating an address standardization application.Interpersonal / Teamwork- In teams ranging from two to twenty, have developed processes and products, at times with teams in remote locations- Led groups of two to four peers in software design and enhancements- Mentored new staff members, training them in business processes.Communication- Collaborated with project managers to define scope, estimates, and goals on numerous projects- Coordinated tasks and deliverables with peers- Wrote SQL, designed database tables, created data loading applications and applications to produce reports in Excel and Word- Provided software support for applications available in 12 languages across 30 global offices.
