Key highlights: • I have over twenty years of data center budgetary management ranging from $3M to $140M and ten years of revenue-based managed services experience. • I've been managing facility services including critical environment equipment (UPS, generators, chillers, AHUs, fire suppression, power) and physical security (cameras, scanners, biometric equipment) as well as following audit requirements (PII data, IRS 1075 HIPAA) for over 10 years. • I have lots of multi-platform experience including IBM Mainframe Z/OS, Z/VM, Solaris, VMware, AIX, Linux, and Windows. • I'm outstanding at leading data center infrastructure teams, including groups that have supported mainframes, servers (Linux, Solaris, AIX, Microsoft Windows, VMware), networks, storage, desktops, and related facilities. • I know how to cut costs. For example, I reduced storage (disk and tape) operating costs by over 40% through the design and implementation of SAN and NAS solutions with more capacity (up to one exabyte) and efficient storage utilization. • I'm great at negotiating and making deals. Example - I established tiered storage rates and offerings that delivered clients more cost-effective options that saved some clients over per month.
