About Mike Tetreault

As a Cyber Security Advisor (CSA), I provide direct support to the state of Rhode Island and the New England region as part of a regional team that is composed of physical and cybersecurity experts as well as regional support personnel with reach-back support available at the national level. The position focuses on advising senior state and local management government officials (CISO) on risk levels and security posture. Additionally, advising senior management on cost-benefit analysis of information security programs, programs and processes as part of a comprehensive risk mitigation program. Partner information sharing is another key aspect of the CSA program to enhance risk management programs through evaluations and assessments. CSA's help deliver key mitigation capabilities to owners and operators that are designed to reduce risks to the nation's critical cyber infrastructure, in particular, elections infrastructure. As a CISA CSA, I will also focus on building cybersecurity partnerships, coalitions, and information sharing at all levels and promote risk reduction and threats to critical information systems that are part of the nation’s critical infrastructure.
