With a deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, I have been at the forefront of talent acquisition in the market since founding OneBrightDay in 2008. As an early entrant to the sector underpinned by over 30 years of recruitment experience, I have built an extensive network and a deep understanding of the evolving landscape across renewable energy, sustainability, decarbonisation, emerging clean technologies, water and the environment. Working in partnership with shareholders and senior leadership teams, I help forward thinking organisations navigate the challenges of attracting upper quartile leaders and managers in strategic, commercial, operational and technical disciplines. As a specialist search consultant, I am committed to delivering tailored recruitment solutions that empower businesses to build a greener, more resilient future. Our clients include leading investors, developers/owners/operators of renewable technologies, contractors, consulting firms (strategy, management, economic, engineering, research), technology companies, retailers, central bodies etc etc. My desire to have a positive impact on human made climate change extends beyond recruitment—I actively invest in companies pioneering innovative, sustainable solutions across the entire value chain, giving me a unique insight into the industry. Prior to establishing OneBrightDay I was instrumental in the growth of Ellis Fairbank from a single site, single brand, regional recruitment company to a market leading group of executive search and selection companies operating out of eleven offices across the UK and Europe, employing over 180 people. In 2001 I was part of the executive team that conducted an MBO, acquiring the business from the founding Directors for £18m.
