Mike is an engineer with 30 years experience in drilling, completions, well testing and production optimisation. Mike began his career with BP in the North Sea in 1988 and has since then worked as consultant for many of the major international oil companies (notably Amerada Hess, Enterprise Oil, BHP Billiton, Shell, BG Group, for Cairn India Ltd as General Manager Petroleum Engineering Operations), BP Rumaila project in Iraq as Completion and Workover manager and now as completion consultant for ENI. He has worked on both the design and implementation of innovative completions for multi-laterals, ESP installations, smart wells including fibre optic technology, innovative sand control designs amongst others.
