About Mike Vance

I have 20+ years of experience in the financial services industry delivering high-value digital solutions. Currently, I am a Director, Product Owner for Prudential's Financial Wellness digital platform & capabilities. In this role, I am responsible for contributing to the solution vision & roadmap and working with our Agile teams to deliver value for customers. Prior to my current role, I spent my first four years at Prudential as the Program Manager for the Financial Wellness digital platform before shifting over in early 2022 to manage the work with PGIM. Prior to Prudential, I spent 18 years working as a consultant for several financial services clients including Morgan Stanley, AXA Financial, The Hartford, and Pacific Life. My longest tenured client (12 years) was investment management firm T. Rowe Price, where I led key strategic initiatives for critical applications such as their Retail Investor account access, mobile website & apps, new account setup, and web analytics. I was responsible for their first implementation of SMS text messaging and the rollout of a new login infrastructure to support millions of customers across their Retail and Retirement businesses. My experience allow me to bring a diverse range of skills to the table in program / project management, product management, business analysis, process design & reengineering, user experience design, web development, mobile application development, systems integration, product launches, and release coordination. Clients and colleagues know me as a hard-working, dedicated professional who can be counted upon to provide leadership and deliver results. My focus has been and always will be on strategy & execution - working collaboratively with my team members and business partners to figure out how to get things done the right way and then making it happen. My attention to detail, organization, communication, problem solving & critical thinking skills have served me well to this end.
