With over 25 years' experience as a professional editorial and commercial sport photographer, Mike has established himself firmly in the business. Through the years he has worn many other hats (fishing guide, features writer, wedding photographer, disabled ski instructor, promotional copywriter, rafting photographer, radio dj, ice cream truck driver.) but traveling the world with camera and snowboard has certainly been the most fulfilling and rewarding. 2011 marked a new phase of his career as a TV Operations Manager and TV/Video Director for the Freeride World Tour, producing content for global release from this extreme snowsport championship series. Promotional and production copyrighting has also put some food on his table recently - along with voice-over work - and kept Mike in the industry he knows and loves.[7 years later and a bucket of golden memories to cherish and the Freeride World Tour is now behind me. What a wonderful team and a great organization to have worked so closely with! I have switched to a life of service and now serve as treasurer on a philanthropic board in the USA, am 3 years into serving as Chair of the Parent’s Liaison Group at St. George’s International School in Switzerland and continue to support the great work of WorldBicycleRelief.org whenever and wherever I can.
