About Mike Williams

Over 20 years' experience of working in healthcare analytics including many years working in Deputy Director/CIO Roles in the NHS. I have a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management and have successfully led several large intelligence teams in the NHS to deliver real improvements for patients. I have developed a number of innovative analytics tools for the NHS, including the iCaps Health Patient Pathway tool for Population Health Management and the iCaps Patient Experience Tool. I have qualifications in statistics, SQL, R and Python and have recently been using machine learning with Python to gain insight from the thousands of patient reviews on BestCareCompare.com. I am also trained in PowerBI and have created a number of insightful dashboards for a variety of organisations. I have worked for a large breadth of organisations within the NHS including the Healthcare Commission (now CQC), NHS England, NHS Digital, The King's Fund, Guy's and St Thomas NHS Trust and a large number of commissioning organisations and CSUs. I am a member of both the British Computer Society and the British Psychological Society.
