About Mike Wojnarowicz

I specialize in the architectural design and production of Transit Oriented Development projects with a portfolio of high-speed passenger rail stations, administrative headquarter buildings and intermodal transportation hubs for major transportation agencies. In the Aviation realm, I have design and construction administration experience with General Aviation terminals, metal and fabric hangar design, and interior renovation work for Tampa International Airport. I also have experience with designing and managing signature pedestrian bridges over active roadway and rail corridor applications. My involvement has spanned across all phases of project design, performing project scope assessments, establishing practice-wide BIM standards and producing several project proposals which have helped secure significant contract awards. A great deal of my work has been with Design-Build and Construction Manager at Risk delivery methods with state government and major transit agencies such as Amtrak, MetroNorth, CTDOT, JTA, RIDOT and NJTA. I have become attuned to prioritizing the development of key project components early on and coordinate them with the CM’s Guaranteed Maximum Pricing to make staged deliverables a viable design approach. As a result, the construction duration is shortened and pricing is set in advance, saving the client money. I have 10 years of professional Revit experience and regularly perform BIM management duties on projects. I have introduced several clients to BIM, train new users, and most recently have brought rail station projects in Revit. I am currently taking the ARE exams to attain my R.A. license.
