About Mikey Ford

With over 20 years of experience in tech startups and creative agencies I have been fortunate to have ideated, prototyped and built digital products and creative experiences with many talented people. Developers, designers, artists, gamers, directors and engineers, across many agencies, time zones, cultures and countries. My path to product is an evolving one,(briefly interrupted by lockdowns), I made a deliberate shift in my career to use what I learnt in crafting memorable interactive experiences, to focus on how emerging technologies combined with user-centred design can lead to long-lasting products that offer a competitive advantage for businesses. Throughout my involvement in product development, I have actively engaged in the complete product lifecycle—from idea generation to final deployment. My current focus is on market research, customer needs identification, feature ideation, and validation of product roadmaps. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams of design, engineering, and product, to advocate for a human-centred approach driven by data insights. An approach to prioritise customer-centric features, ultimately contributing to value creation for the business.
