About Mikhaya Brown

Hi! My name is Mikhaya Brown. I graduated from the University of Oregon in June 2024 with a diverse academic background in Business, Economics, Psychology, and Entrepreneurship. I am passionate about pursuing roles in Marketing, Merchandising, and Finance. During my time at UO, I worked at the Tutoring and Academic Engagement Center, where I tutored students in Accounting, Business Administration, and Statistics. This role honed my ability to support and improve student performance through dedicated 50-minute sessions each week. In addition to my academic experience, I worked at DSW as an Associate Manager. This position in retail allowed me to develop key skills in leadership, collaboration, and excellent interpersonal communication. I was responsible for strategically organizing the store layout to boost sales of popular products and tracking daily sales metrics. The combination of my academic achievements and professional experience has equipped me with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in my career. I am excited to leverage my skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.
