About Mila Lopez

With over 10 years of experience in the child and youth care field, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, empathy, problem-solving, and relationship-building—skills that continue to serve me across every area of my work.My career has involved supporting children, youth, and families through complex challenges, requiring patience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of human behavior. These experiences have shaped me into a grounded and resourceful professional, able to navigate both high-pressure situations and everyday human interactions with care and confidence.Alongside this, I’ve also followed my creative path—working in a yarn store and now launching my own hand-dyed yarn business. This entrepreneurial work has allowed me to expand into branding, product development, customer service, and community engagement, all while nurturing a growing small business.Fluent in both French and English, I thrive in diverse environments and bring a well-rounded, people-centered approach to everything I do. Whether in care work, creative industries, or team collaboration, I offer a unique blend of compassion, creativity, and strategic thinking.
