About Milad Pooladsanj

I am a research assistant at USC's Center for Advanced Transportation Technologies, where I am pursuing my PhD and MA degrees in Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics, respectively. My research interests include control, optimization, and machine learning with applications to intelligent transportation systems and robotics. I have contributed to multiple projects that aim to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of transportation systems. For example, I have developed and implemented novel control algorithms for connected and automated vehicles, resulting in improved performance and robustness. I have also developed ramp metering algorithms that optimize traffic flow on freeways. I have published several papers in prestigious transportation and controls journals and conferences, and received multiple awards and honors for my research excellence.
