About Milan Radia

Milan Radia is a seasoned senior executive and expert in the global data centre sector, having been directly involved in this segment since Milan is CEO of ConnectedCompute, an international digital infrastructure business headquartered in the UAE. Milan was previously Senior Vice President at Edgnex Data Centres, a subsidiary of the DAMAC Group in the UAE, reporting directly to the Chairman and focusing on the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Prior to Edgnex, Milan worked for five years in a senior role at Interxion Digital Realty, reporting directly to the CEO, David Ruberg. During over 25 years of investment banking and equity market experience at global banks and as a senior fund manager, Milan worked on many high-profile successful IPOs and other complex capital markets transactions. Milan started his career at Prudential Portfolio Managers where he was Senior Fund Manager responsible for portfolios worth in excess of £350m. This included leading the launch of one of the earliest ESG funds in the UK. Milan is able to join strategic dots in innovative and highly effective ways, leveraging- Operational experience in senior data centre roles across geographies - Extensive M&A and due diligence experience gained from involvement in many transactions from both a corporate and advisory perspective - Comprehensive understanding of the technology industry, spanning data centres, cloud services, software, fintech, and systems integrators, having advised/listed companies across these segments - Deep insights into institutional investor thought processes, having worked as a portfolio manager at the highest level - Rigorous financial, valuation and strategic analysis capabilities, and a full grasp of technical equity market issues Milan has won many significant investment banking awards. In 2017, he was ranked No.1 tech earnings estimator in the UK in the Thomson Starmine Awards. This followed No.1 Starmine rankings for Europe in 2010 and 2011 and a No.2 ranking in the UK in 2011. In 2015, Milan’s team was ranked no.1 in the Extel Awards by tech corporate management teams. Milan has been techMARK Analyst of the Year and achieved top 3 Institutional Investor sector rankings for the data centre, software and telecoms sectors during his time at UBS Warburg. Milan is a regular presenter and panellist at major data centre industry conferences and is a judge for the UK National Technology Awards. He is married with three children and resides in Dubai, UAE.
