Working in the field of Accounts, Indirect Taxation, Commercial & Banking Function for last 22 yrs. since 1998, Corporate Houses to whom I Served during this tenure are 1.) Johnson Controls India Pvt. Ltd, 2.)Amway India Enterprises, 3.) D-Link India Ltd. 4.) Philips Electronics India Ltd. 5.) Blue Star Ltd. 6.) Shoppers Stop Ltd. I am MBA(Fin.) with CMA (Inter), B.Com(Hons.), Worked for more then 10 yrs. on SAP, Ms-Office, Excel & PPT. Handled a team of 3-4 persons along with the Tax Consultants and Auditors. In my professional carrier, I have handled Assessment, Appeal up to CESTAT, Tribunal level. Also due to job rotation system looked after the C&F operation, Warehousing, Debtors Management, Compliance and Admin Job successfully. Under my leadership my team was able to handle the taxation job successfully, Implemented the VAT & GST at corporate level in 2005 & 2017. As an achievement, I got a favorable Assessment & Appeal order in different forum of Sales Tax & Service Tax department, Including resolution of Service Tax case matter where demand has been dropped for 34 crs. on WCT ground. Also we got a refund of around 3.4 crs. in last 7 yrs. time. During the GST tenure I am able to collect a refund of Rs.14 crs. of ITC against export. Also handled 2 appeal against ITC mismatch matter and dropped the demand of Rs.2.53 crs. at Appellate stage and issued APL04 by the dept. Also headed the Regional Commercial profile successfully and as an additional responsibility developed the Channel Sales business in Tier 2 market for D-Link India Ltd. From 2002-05, Amway was in expansion mode in ER states and as a member of the Commercial & taxation team, I had played a Pivotal role in opening new state operations in the state like Meghalaya, Manipur, Jharkhand, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh. I had travel a lot and like it. I believe personal appearance pays more dividend then remote area functioning. In such case face to face communication gives more mileage then e-mail communication. This 22 yrs. of journey has given me a success and which helped me to scale up my profile from the position of Audit Assistant to Regional Manager. I am a Life member of Eastern Chamber of Commerce (ECC), Member of All India Management Association. Also actively participating in different Social Cause and attached with 1-2 NGO's. I have organised seminar & Panel discussion on Companies Act 2013 & GST training on behalf of ECC in 2013 & 2017 during my tenure of Executive Committee membership of ECC.
