International Consultant in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development. Renewable energy and training specialist. Co-Director of the Renewable Energy Research and Development Center (CIDER) at EARTH University, first training center of its kind in Central America, creating strategies for fundraising. designing and developing training programs (seminars, short courses, international courses). Lecturer in seminars and workshops about specific topics of renewable energies, which have been held at EARTH University, and in cooperation with other academies such as the Renewable Academy (RENAC), AG Berlin. Target groups I have impacted through these training programs include: • University students, professionals and general public from Latin-American, the Caribbean, Africa and other regions, including countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, Somaliland, Canada, USA, Switzerland, Spain. • Qualified employees/engineers from the industry and energy sector in Latin-America • Government employees, NGOs and other relevant stakeholders involved in the renewable energy market (training on technology). • Leaders from rural communities, including indigenous men and women from Central America and Africa. More than eight years of experience in E-learning as EARTH academic coordinator of the on-line joint program RENAC/EARTH “Especialización de Energías Renovables”. Faculty member at EARTH University, teaching topics related to renewable energies (RE), such as Physics applied to RE, General Physic, Solar Energy for Rural Communities, and other RE technologies, as well as supporting graduation projects and other academic experiences.
