I have more than 15 years experience in the non-profit health sector. I have dedicated much of my career to developing and managing programs focused on vulnerable and marginalized populations, including innovative HIV/AIDS programs, new prevention technologies, counseling and testing and strategies to improve adherence for ART amongst PLWHA at facility and community based level. I offer strong analytical skills for Health and HIV/AIDS programming including Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS mainstreaming and gender mainstreaming. I offer extensive knowledge of health and social programs, including gender- and rights-based programming and research, combining strong program and people management skills with technical savvy. I am a well-accomplished speaker with advanced facilitation skills, including facilitation of workshops and meetings at organizational, national and international levels. I am a good team player with experience in management teams at various levels of health systems programming. I am familiarized with rigorous programmatic performance against tight timelines and well skilled in project planning and management for effectiveness and efficiency in programming. I have worked in the Brazil and in countries in Africa, and I have a Specialization on Medical Psychology from University of Sao Paulo.
