During college, I interned at a music tech company named "BeatStars" that helps artists & music producers make money from their art. While at BeatStars, I made social media content for their 500K+ social following. One of my videos generated views on their Instagram page. As a member of the BeatStars Affiliate Program, I generated from my promo code that gave a discount to new members of the platform. I converted over new users to BeatStars from creating my own social media content across Youtube, Instagram, & TikTok. While being a full-time college student, I also created my music licensing business named "Miles Jordan Music." Through this business, I allow artists and other businesses to use my music for songs, commercials, and films. To promote my business, I've created hundreds of videos related to music producing, which have generated over a million views on multiple platforms. I've also played trumpet for 6 years in my school jazz/symphonic band. Music has always been a part of my life, so I would appreciate working full-time in the music marketing industry. Along with running my business & doing an internship, I've worked at Chick Fil-A, Harris Teeter, Target, and Food Lion as extra ways to fund my college experience. For sports, I've taken a sports analytics class where I learned data based research skills for the sports industry. I did a project where I researched potential draft picks for the Minnesota Vikings by using data from Pro Football Focus, ESPN, and StatMuse. I've also been heavily watching sports since I was 5 years old. So, I would love to work for any sports company/team in the industry.
